Adhyaya 35Madālasa’s Instruction on Purity, Impurity, and Corrective Rites (Śauca and Aśauca)

तत्कर्तव्यमशङ्केन यन्न गोप्यं महाजने ।

एवमाचरतो वत्स ! पुरुषस्य गृहे सतः ।

धर्मार्थकामसम्प्राप्त्या परत्रेह च शोभनम् ॥

tat kartavyam aśaṅkena yan na gopyaṃ mahājane /

evam ācarato vatsa ! puruṣasya gṛhe sataḥ /

dharmārthakāmasaṃprāptyā paratreha ca śobhanam

O que não precisa ser ocultado do público deve ser feito sem hesitação. Pois, para o homem que vive como chefe de família e assim procede, a obtenção de dharma, artha e kāma traz o auspicioso e o honroso aqui e no além, querido filho.
