Dhanaṃjaya’s Reassurance and the Opening Engagement
विमानैरविविधैश्षित्रैरुपानीतै: सुरोत्तमै: । वज्भच्छुशुभे तत्र विमानस्थै: सुरैर्वृत:
vaiśampāyana uvāca | vimānair vividhaś citrair upānītaiḥ surottamaiḥ | vajrabhṛc chubhe tatra vimānasthaiḥ surair vṛtaḥ ||
Vaiśampāyana disse: Trazidos pelos mais eminentes dos deuses, muitos vimānas maravilhosos—variados e radiantes—apareceram ali. Naquele cenário esplêndido, Indra, o portador do vajra, estava cercado por divindades postadas em seus vimānas, elevando a grandeza celeste enquanto contemplavam com admiração o combate heroico que se desenrolava abaixo.
