Ajñātavāsa-saṅkalpaḥ — Yudhiṣṭhira’s Resolve and Dhaumya’s Exempla on Concealment
सा भूमौ प्रेक्ष्य भर्तारमुपसुत्योपगृह च । उत्सड़े शिर आरोप्य भूमावुपविवेश ह,वह पृथ्वीपर अपने पतिको पड़ा देख उनके पास गयी और पृथ्वीपर बैठ गयी, फिर पतिको उठाकर उसने उनके मस्तकको गोदीमें रख लिया
sā bhūmau prekṣya bhartāram upasṛtyopagṛhya ca | utsaṅge śira āropya bhūmāv upaviveśa ha ||
Ao ver o esposo estendido no chão, correu até ele e o abraçou. Depois, colocando-lhe a cabeça sobre o colo, sentou-se na terra.
यम उवाच
The verse highlights dharmic compassion and steadfast spousal devotion: in suffering, one responds with presence, care, and loyalty rather than abandonment or harshness.
