Sāvitrī’s Dialogue with Yama and the Restoration of Satyavān
प्रतिजज्ञे च काकुत्स्थ: समरे वालिनो वधम् । सुग्रीवश्चापि वैदेह्ठा: पुनरानयनं नृप,साथ ही उन्होंने युद्धमें वालीके वधकी भी प्रतिज्ञा की। राजन! तब सुग्रीवने भी विदेहनन्दिनी सीताको पुनः ढूँढ़ लानेकी प्रतिज्ञा की
pratijajñe ca kākutsthaḥ samare vālinō vadham | sugrīvaś cāpi vaidehyāḥ punar-ānayanaṃ nṛpa ||
Disse Mārkaṇḍeya: “Rāma, descendente de Kakutstha, jurou em batalha matar Vālin. E Sugrīva também, ó rei, prometeu trazer de volta Vaidehī (Sītā) mais uma vez.”
