Rāvaṇa–Mārīca Dialogue and the Decoy-Deer Prelude to Sītā’s Abduction

Heaven, even if splendid, remains within the cycle of earned results and eventual decline; the text points instead to Viṣṇu’s supreme abode—identified with the pure, eternal light of Para-brahman—as the highest, unconditioned goal.
After Mudgala asks for a realm free from the defects found in heaven, the divine messenger answers by describing a transcendental destination above Brahmā’s world: Viṣṇu’s supreme station, known as the Supreme Brahman.
