शरणं च प्रपन्नानां त्राणार्थ च कुलस्य च । उत्तिष्ठत नरव्यात्रा: सज्जीभवत मा चिरम्‌,नरश्रेष्ठ वीरो! शरणागतोंकी रक्षा करने और कुलकी लाज बचानेके लिये तुमलोग शीघ्र उठो और युद्धके लिये तैयार हो जाओ, विलम्ब न करो

Transliteration

Yudhiṣṭhira uvāca: śaraṇaṃ ca prapannānāṃ trāṇārthaṃ ca kulasya ca | uttiṣṭhata naravyāghrāḥ sajjībhavata mā ciram ||

Translation

Yudhiṣṭhira disse: “Para proteger os que buscaram refúgio e para preservar a honra de nossa linhagem, erguei-vos, ó tigres entre os homens. Preparai-vos — não tardeis.”
