Mahābhārata 3.214

यथाश्रुतमिदं सर्व समासेन द्विजोत्तम । एतत्‌ ते सर्वमाख्यातं कि भूय: श्रोतुमिच्छसि,द्विजश्रेष्ठ! मैंने यह सब जैसा सुना है, वैसा सब-का-सब थोड़ेमें आपसे कह सुनाया है। अब आप और क्या सुनना चाहते हैं?

yathāśrutam idaṁ sarvaṁ samāsena dvijottama | etat te sarvam ākhyātaṁ kiṁ bhūyaḥ śrotum icchasi ||

Ó melhor dos brâmanes, relatei-te—de modo breve e exatamente como ouvi—tudo por inteiro. Diz-me agora: que mais desejas ouvir?
