Pradyumna–Śālva Missile-Exchange at Saubha (Āraṇyaka Parva, Adhyāya 18)
त्वं च सूतकुले जातो विनीत:ः सूतकर्मणि । धर्मज्ञश्षासि वृष्णीनामाहवेष्वपि दारुके,“दारुककुमार! तू सूतकुलमें उत्पन्न होनेके साथ ही सूतकर्मकी अच्छी तरह शिक्षा पा चुका है। वृष्णिवंशी वीरोंका युद्धमें क्या धर्म है, यह भी भली-भाँति जानता है
tvaṃ ca sūtakule jāto vinītaḥ sūtakarmaṇi | dharmajñaś cāsi vṛṣṇīnām āhaveṣv api dāruke ||
Disse Vāyu: “Tu também nasceste na linhagem dos sūta (aurigas) e foste bem instruído nos deveres de um sūta. E, ó Dāruka, compreendes qual é a conduta justa para os heróis Vṛṣṇi—mesmo em meio ao tumulto da guerra.”
