ततोऊहं लघुभिभ्षिन्रैब्रह्यास्त्रपरिमन्त्रितै: । व्यधमं सायकैराशु शशशो5थ सहस्रश:,निवातकवचोंने संग्राममें हमलोगोंसे होड़-सी लगा रखी थी। मैं बाणोंके आघातसे पीड़ित था, तो भी उन्होंने बड़ी भारी बाणवर्षा करके मेरी प्रगतिको रोकने-की चेष्टा की। तब मैंने अद्भुत और शीघ्रगामी बाणोंको ब्रह्मास्त्रसे अभिमन्त्रित करके चलाया और उनके द्वारा शीघ्र ही सैकड़ों तथा हजारों दानवोंका संहार करने लगा
tato ’haṁ laghubhiḥ śīghrair brahmāstraparimantritaiḥ | vyadhamam sāyakair āśu śataśo ’tha sahasraśaḥ ||
Então eu, empregando flechas velozes consagradas pelo mantra do Brahmāstra, abati-os rapidamente—às centenas e aos milhares. No aperto da batalha, quando os Nivātakavacas buscaram deter meu avanço com uma densa chuva de projéteis, não respondi com mera fúria, mas com um poder mais elevado e disciplinado, virando a maré pela maestria das armas sagradas e por um propósito resoluto.
अजुन उवाच
Even in war, power is portrayed as legitimate when governed by discipline, knowledge, and duty: Arjuna’s effectiveness comes from mastery of mantra-empowered weapons and controlled resolve rather than uncontrolled violence.
Arjuna describes countering the Nivātakavacas in battle: he uses swift arrows empowered by the Brahmāstra-mantra and rapidly destroys large numbers of foes, overcoming their attempt to halt his advance with heavy missile-fire.
