सहसा घातयामास देवदेव: पिनाकधृक् । तदनन्तर सम्पूर्ण योगेश्वरोंके भी ईश्वर महातेजस्वी देवाधिदेव पिनाकधारी शिवने योगबलका आश्रय ले अपने भयानक सेवकोंद्वारा उस यज्ञको सहसा नष्ट करा दिया ॥। ३२ हे || केचिन्नादानमुज्चन्त केचिद्धासांश्व॒ चक्रिरे
kecin nādānam uñjanti kecid dhāsāṃś ca cakrire
Disse Bhīṣma: Alguns ergueram gritos estrondosos, enquanto outros, às pressas, trataram de preparar fuga e ocultação. Na súbita ruína do sacrifício, a assembleia rompeu em pânico—vozes se elevaram em confusão, e as pessoas agiram por medo, não por firmeza de espírito.
