हारमाभरणं वेषं गतं स्थितमवेक्षितम्
hāram ābharaṇaṃ veṣaṃ gataṃ sthitam avekṣitam
Śakra disse: “Observei o colar, os ornamentos e o traje—como mudam e como permanecem; como são usados e como são postos de lado.”

External markers—jewelry, dress, and display—are transient and contingent; ethical worth and inner steadiness are not to be measured by such changeable appearances.
Indra (Śakra) speaks reflectively, describing his observation of ornaments and attire in their changing states—worn, removed, coming and going—using them as a cue to consider the instability of outward status.
