Transliteration

praṇaṣṭe tu tadā vahlau devāḥ sarve savāsavāḥ

Translation

Vaiśampāyana disse: Quando então o fogo sagrado desapareceu, todos os deuses—junto com Vāsava (Indra)—foram tomados de alarme, pressentindo uma ruptura na ordem correta sustentada pelo rito e pela presença divina.
