ततश्शकछिन्नायुधं तेन रणे पजच महारथा:
tataḥ śakra-chinnāyudhaṃ tena raṇe pañca mahārathāḥ
Disse Sañjaya: Então, naquele campo de batalha, cinco grandes guerreiros de carro ficaram com as armas despedaçadas por ele — imagem de força marcial avassaladora, que mostra como, na guerra, a destreza pode subitamente privar até os poderosos dos seus meios de resistência.
