Adhyāya 113: Karṇa–Bhīma Śaravarṣa and the Battlefield Aftermath (कर्णभीमशरवर्षः)
विश्रब्धं गच्छ शैनेय मा कार्षीमयि सम्भ्रमम् धृष्टय्युम्नो रणे क्रुद्धं द्रोणमावारयिष्यति
Yudhiṣṭhira uvāca: viśrabdhaṁ gaccha śaineya mā kārṣīr mayi sambhramam | dhṛṣṭadyumno raṇe kruddhaṁ droṇam āvārayiṣyati ||
Disse Yudhiṣṭhira: “Vai sem temor, ó filho de Śini. Não te inquietes por minha causa. Dhṛṣṭadyumna, enfurecido na batalha, conterá Droṇa por completo.”
युधिछिर उवाच
Maintain composure and act according to assigned duty: a leader calms allies, prevents panic, and relies on capable protectors rather than letting anxiety disrupt righteous action.
Yudhiṣṭhira instructs Sātyaki (Śaineya) to proceed confidently, assuring him that Dhṛṣṭadyumna will effectively check Droṇa on the battlefield, so Sātyaki need not worry about Yudhiṣṭhira’s safety.
