Daśame’hani Bhīṣma-yuddham — Śikhaṇḍī-rakṣaṇa, Arjuna-prabhāva, Duryodhana-āśraya-vākyam
तथैव भगदत्तश्न श्रुतायुश्न महाबल:
tathaiva bhagadattaś ca śrutāyuś ca mahābalaḥ
Disse Sañjaya: “Do mesmo modo, Bhagadatta e Śrutāyu—ambos homens de grande força—(avançaram e se engajaram na batalha).” A linha ressalta que, na turbulência moral da guerra, guerreiros renomados são arrastados pelo mesmo ímpeto destrutivo, e sua proeza pessoal torna-se instrumento dentro de um conflito maior e fatídico.
