Adhyātma-Upadeśa
यावद् रथपथस्तावदू रथेन स तु गच्छति । क्षीणे रथपदे विद्वान् रथमुत्सूज्य गच्छति
yāvad rathapathas tāvadū rathena sa tu gacchati | kṣīṇe rathapade vidvān ratham utsṛjya gacchati |
Vāyu disse: “Enquanto houver estrada de carruagens, segue-se de carruagem. Quando o trilho da estrada termina, o sábio deixa a carruagem e prossegue a pé. Do mesmo modo, o viajante tolo se apega a um único meio e sofre quando o terreno muda; o discernente adapta o método aos limites do caminho.”
