जगत्पतिरनिर्देश्य: सर्वग: सर्वभावन: । हृच्छय: सर्वभूतानां ज्येष्ठो रुद्रादपि प्रभु:

Transliteration

jagatpatir anirdeśyaḥ sarvagaḥ sarvabhāvanaḥ | hṛcchayaḥ sarvabhūtānāṁ jyeṣṭho rudrād api prabhuḥ ||

Translation

Bhīṣma disse: O Senhor do universo está além de qualquer descrição precisa; Ele permeia tudo e faz surgir todos os estados do ser. Habitanto no coração de cada criatura, é o mais antigo e o supremo—maior até que Rudra em soberania.
