Pitṛ-śrāddha-haviḥ-phala-nirdeśa
Offerings for Ancestors and Their Stated Results
सेन्द्रेषु चैव लोकेषु प्रतिष्ठां विन्दते शुभाम् इह लोके यश: प्राप्प शान्तपाप्मा च मोदते
sendreṣu caiva lokeṣu pratiṣṭhāṁ vindate śubhām | iha loke yaśaḥ prāpya śāntapāpmā ca modate ||
Vasiṣṭha disse: “Nos mundos presididos por Indra e pelos demais guardiões, ele alcança posição e honra auspiciosas. E aqui mesmo, neste mundo, tendo obtido boa fama, vive com alegria — seus pecados apaziguados e a consciência em paz.”
