Brahmā–Indra–Surabhi Itihāsa
दृतिकण्ठमनड्वाहं सर्वरत्नैरलंकृतम् । दत्त्वा प्रजापतेलोकान् विशोक: प्रतिपद्यते
dhrtikaṇṭham anaḍvāhaṃ sarvaratnair alaṅkṛtam | dattvā prajāpate lokān viśokaḥ pratipadyate ||
Vasiṣṭha disse: Quem oferece a um brāhmaṇa um touro forte—de pescoço grosso e apto a suportar o peso de um carro—ornamentado com toda espécie de joias, alcança os mundos de Prajāpati e fica livre de tristeza.
