Anuśāsana-parva 17
योगिनामपि यो योगी कारणानां च कारणम् | यतो लोका: सम्भवन्ति न भवन्ति यत: पुन:
yoginām api yo yogī kāraṇānāṃ ca kāraṇam | yato lokāḥ sambhavanti na bhavanti yataḥ punaḥ ||
Vāyu disse: “Aquele que é o Yogin supremo mesmo entre os yogins, e a causa última por trás de todas as causas—de quem os mundos surgem e em quem cessam novamente. Ouve de mim os mil e oito nomes desse Senhor Śiva, o Si-mesmo de todos os seres, de esplendor incomensurável. Ó melhor dos homens, apenas por escutar isto alcançarás a realização de todos os teus desejos.”
