व्यजयच्छत्रुसंघांश्व देवानां स्वेन तेजसा । अत्रिणा दह्ामानांस्तान् दृष्टवा देवा महासुरान्
vyajayac chatrusaṅghāṁś ca devānāṁ svena tejasā | atriṇā dahyamānāṁs tān dṛṣṭvā devā mahāsurān |
Bhishma disse: “Com o seu próprio fulgor espiritual, ele venceu as hostes inimigas dos deuses. Vendo aqueles poderosos asuras sendo chamuscados pelo poder de Atri, os deuses—agora protegidos por ele—mostraram então seu valor e abateram aqueles daityas. Assim, Atri tornou o Sol novamente resplandecente, livrou os deuses do perigo e levou os asuras à ruína.”
