Educational Q&A

Righteous protection grounded in tapas (spiritual power) strengthens and enables rightful action: when the devas are safeguarded by Atri’s merit, they can exercise their own valor effectively to restore order and defeat destructive forces.

Atri’s spiritual power scorches the asuras; under his protection the devas regain strength, make the Sun radiant again, and then, through their own martial effort, kill the daityas/asuras and secure deliverance.
