Śatarudrīya-prabhāva and Rudra’s Supremacy (शतरुद्रीयप्रभावः)

ओषघध्यो ज्वलमानाश्ष द्योतयन्ति सम तद्‌ वनम्‌ | ऋतुएँ वहाँ उपस्थित हो सब प्रकारके अत्यन्त अद्भुत पुष्प बिखेर रही थीं। ओषधियाँ प्रज्वलित हो उस वनको प्रकाशित कर रही थीं

oṣadhyo jvalamānāś ca dyotayanti samaṃ tad vanam | ṛtavaḥ tatra upasthitāḥ sarva-prakārair aty-adbhuta-puṣpāṇi vikiranti sma ||

Nārada disse: “As ervas medicinais, como se estivessem em chamas, iluminavam aquela floresta por todos os lados. As próprias estações pareciam ter chegado ali em pessoa, espalhando flores maravilhosas de toda espécie.” Nesta descrição de tom visionário, a natureza surge harmonizada e auspiciosa, sugerindo um reino onde a ordem (ṛta/dharma) prevalece e o ambiente se torna sinal de mérito espiritual e presença sagrada.
