प्रयत्नाद्वा तयोस्तुल्यं चिराद्वा ह्यचिराद्द्विजाः योगान्तरायास् तस्याथ जायन्ते युञ्जतः पुनः
prayatnādvā tayostulyaṃ cirādvā hyacirāddvijāḥ yogāntarāyās tasyātha jāyante yuñjataḥ punaḥ
Ó dvijas, seja por esforço contínuo ou por capacidade equivalente de prática, seja após muito tempo ou rapidamente—quando alguém retoma a disciplina do Yoga, então surgem obstáculos ao Yoga para esse praticante.
