Transliteration
ekarātriṃ surāḥ sarve pitṛbhistvṛṣibhiḥ saha somasya kṛṣṇapakṣādau bhāskarābhimukhasya ca
Translation
No exato início da quinzena escura da Lua, todos os Devas—juntamente com os Pitṛs e os Ṛṣis—observam um rito de uma só noite, voltados para o Sol, como ato consagrado em harmonia com a ordem cósmica sustentada por Pati (Śiva).
