युगधर्मवर्णनम् — चतुर्युग, गुण, धर्मपाद, तथा वार्तोत्पत्ति

मर्यादायाः प्रतिष्ठार्थं ज्ञात्वा तदखिलं विभुः ससर्ज क्षत्रियांस्त्रातुं क्षतात्कमलसंभवः

Transliteration

maryādāyāḥ pratiṣṭhārthaṃ jñātvā tadakhilaṃ vibhuḥ sasarja kṣatriyāṃstrātuṃ kṣatātkamalasaṃbhavaḥ

Translation

Para firmar a maryādā, os limites da ordem justa, o Senhor onisciente—Brahmā, nascido do lótus—tendo compreendido tudo o que havia de ser feito, criou os Kṣatriyas para proteger e resgatar o mundo da injúria e da desordem.
