युगधर्मवर्णनम् — चतुर्युग, गुण, धर्मपाद, तथा वार्तोत्पत्ति

द्वन्द्वैः सम्पीड्यमानाश् च चक्रुर् आवरणानि तु कृतद्वन्द्वप्रतीघाताः केतनानि गिरौ ततः
Transliteration
dvandvaiḥ sampīḍyamānāś ca cakrur āvaraṇāni tu kṛtadvandvapratīghātāḥ ketanāni girau tataḥ
Translation
Apertados pelo choque dos opostos, eles então estabeleceram cercas e resguardos de proteção; e, sobre a montanha, ergueram estandartes e emblemas, feitos para contrariar e repelir os encontros duais e hostis.
