Dakṣa’s Daughters, Cosmic Lineages, and the Population of the Three Worlds
Racanā is described here as Tvaṣṭā’s wife, a maiden born in a Daitya family, and the mother of Sanniveśa and the powerful Viśvarūpa.
This verse identifies Viśvarūpa as a mighty son of Tvaṣṭā and Racanā, placing him within the genealogy central to the Canto 6 narrative.
It highlights that destiny and relationships can cross social or opposing lineages, reminding us to see life’s outcomes as part of a larger divine arrangement rather than only external labels.
