Balarāma Humbles the Kurus and Rescues Sāmba
अद्य निष्कौरवं पृथ्वीं करिष्यामीत्यमर्षित: । गृहीत्वा हलमुत्तस्थौ दहन्निव जगत्त्रयम् ॥ ४० ॥
adya niṣkauravāṁ pṛthvīṁ kariṣyāmīty amarṣitaḥ gṛhītvā halam uttasthau dahann iva jagat-trayam
Enfurecido, Balarāma declarou: “Hoje livrarei a terra dos Kauravas!” Assim dizendo, tomou sua arma, o arado, e ergueu-se como se fosse incendiar os três mundos.
