सा तु तत्रैकरात्रेण वर्धमाना कमण्डलौ । अलब्ध्वात्मावकाशं वा इदमाह महीपतिम् ॥ १७ ॥

Transliteration

sā tu tatraika-rātreṇa vardhamānā kamaṇḍalau alabdhvātmāvakāśaṁ vā idam āha mahīpatim

Translation

Mas, em apenas uma noite, o peixe cresceu tanto que já não podia mover-se à vontade na água do recipiente. Então falou ao rei assim.
