Sukta 17
नास्य श्वेतः कृष्णकर्णो धुरि युक्तो महीयते । यस्मिन् राष्ट्रे निरुध्यते ब्रह्मजायाचित्त्या
nā́syā śvetáḥ kṛ́ṣṇakarṇo dhurí yuktó mahīyate | yásmin rāṣṭré nirudhyáte brahmajāyā́cittyā ||
No white, black-eared beast of his, yoked at the draught, is exalted or thrives, in that realm wherein one is held in check for intent toward the Brahman’s wife.
Nenhum animal seu, branco e de orelhas negras, jungido ao jugo, é exaltado nem prospera; nesse reino onde se mantém sob freio aquele que intenta contra a esposa do brâmane.
