यदीयं दुहिता तव विकेश्यरुदद् गृहे रोदेन कृण्वत्य१घम्। अग्निष्ट्वा तस्मादेनसः सविता च प्र मुञ्चताम्
yády ìyáṃ duhítā táva vikéśy árudād gṛhé ródena kṛṇvaty àghám | agníṣ ṭvā tásmād énasaḥ savitā́ ca prá muñcatām
If this thy daughter, with hair unbound, hath wailed within the house and by her crying wrought mischief—Agni from that, and Savitar likewise, shall loose thee forth from taint of sin.
Se esta tua filha, de cabelos soltos, chorou na casa e com o seu choro fez mal — que Agni disso, e Savitar também, te soltem dessa mancha de culpa.
