प्रायश्चित्तानि (Expiations) — Association-Impurity, Purification Rites, and Graded Penance

अहोरात्रमुपासीतन्नशौचं बान्धवैः सह निवर्तयेरंस्तस्मात्तु ज्येष्ठांशम्भाषणादिके

ahorātramupāsītannaśaucaṃ bāndhavaiḥ saha nivartayeraṃstasmāttu jyeṣṭhāṃśambhāṣaṇādike

Ele deve manter a observância por um dia e uma noite completos; então cessará esse estado de impureza (aśauca), juntamente com os parentes. Por isso, durante esse período deve-se também evitar falar com os mais velhos e outras interações semelhantes.
