निवारयति यो दत्तं गुरुघात्याफलं लभेत् ॥ न देवा प्रतिगृह्णन्ति नाग्नयः पितरस्तथा ॥

nivārayati yo dattaṁ gurughātyāphalaṁ labhet || na devā pratigṛhṇanti nāgnayaḥ pitaras tathā ||

ਜੋ ਦਿੱਤੇ ਜਾ ਰਹੇ ਦਾਨ ਨੂੰ ਰੋਕਦਾ ਹੈ, ਉਹ ਗੁਰੂ-ਹੱਤਿਆ ਦੇ ਸਮਾਨ ਫਲ ਪਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ; ਦੇਵਤਾ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਸਵੀਕਾਰ ਨਹੀਂ ਕਰਦੇ, ਨਾ ਅਗਨੀਆਂ, ਅਤੇ ਨਾਹ ਹੀ ਪਿਤਰ।
