मृतस्य नाम चोद्दिश्य यस्यार्थे च प्रयोजितः॥ स्वर्गतस्येति संकल्प्य कृत्वा ब्राह्मणमन्दिरम्

mṛtasya nāma coddiśya yasyārthe ca prayojitaḥ || svargatasyeti saṅkalpya kṛtvā brāhmaṇa-mandiram

ਮ੍ਰਿਤਕ ਦਾ ਨਾਮ ਉਚਾਰ ਕੇ ਅਤੇ ਜਿਸ ਦੇ ਹਿਤ ਲਈ ਇਹ ਕਰਮ ਨਿਯੁਕਤ ਹੈ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਲਈ ਸਮਰਪਿਤ ਕਰਕੇ, ‘ਸਵਰਗ ਗਏ ਹੋਏ ਲਈ’ ਇਹ ਸੰਕਲਪ ਕਰੇ, ਅਤੇ ਬ੍ਰਾਹਮਣ ਲਈ ਨਿਵਾਸ/ਯਜ੍ਞ-ਸਥਾਨ ਤਿਆਰ ਕਰੇ।
