Verse 15
Prashna
तद्ये ह वै तत्प्रजापतिव्रतं चरन्ति ते मिथुनमुत्पादयन्ते। तेषामेवैष ब्रह्मलोको येषां तपो ब्रह्मचर्यं येषु सत्यं प्रतिष्ठितम्॥१५॥
तत् ये ह वै तत्-प्रजापति-व्रतम् चरन्ति ते मिथुनम् उत्-पादयन्ते । तेषाम् एव एषः ब्रह्म-लोकः येषाम् तपः ब्रह्मचर्यम् येषु सत्यम् प्रति-ष्ठितम् ॥१५॥
tad ye ha vai tat-prajāpati-vrataṃ caranti te mithunam utpādayanti | teṣām evaiṣa brahmaloko yeṣāṃ tapo brahmacaryaṃ yeṣu satyaṃ pratiṣṭhitam ||15||
ਜੋ ਉਸ ਪ੍ਰਜਾਪਤੀ-ਵ੍ਰਤ ਦਾ ਆਚਰਨ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਨ, ਉਹ ਮਿਥੁਨ (ਯੁਗਲ/ਸੰਤਾਨ-ਸ੍ਰਿਜਨ) ਉਤਪੰਨ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਨ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਲਈ ਹੀ ਇਹ ਬ੍ਰਹਮਲੋਕ ਹੈ—ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਤਪ ਅਤੇ ਬ੍ਰਹਮਚਰਯ ਮੌਜੂਦ ਹੈ, ਅਤੇ ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਸੱਚ ਦ੍ਰਿੜ੍ਹ ਰੂਪ ਵਿੱਚ ਪ੍ਰਤਿਸ਼ਠਿਤ ਹੈ।
Now, those who practice that vow of Prajāpati, they produce the pair (offspring/creative duality). For them alone is this Brahma-world—(for those) in whom austerity and brahmacarya (continence/discipline) are present, and in whom truth is established.
