Verse 14

Ishavasya

सम्भूतिं च विनाशं च यस्तद्वेदोभयं सह । विनाशेन मृत्युं तीर्त्वा सम्भूत्यामृतमश्नुते ॥१४॥

सम्भूतिम् च । विनाशम् च । यः । तत् । वेद । उभयम् । सह । विनाशेन । मृत्युम् । तीर्त्वा । सम्भूत्या । अमृतम् । अश्नुते ।

sambhūtiṃ ca vināśaṃ ca yas tad vedobhayam saha | vināśena mṛtyuṃ tīrtvā sambhūtyāmṛtam aśnute ||14||

ਜੋ ਮਨੁੱਖ ‘ਸੰਭੂਤੀ’ (ਪ੍ਰਕਟਤਾ/ਅਭਿਵ੍ਯਕਤੀ) ਅਤੇ ‘ਵਿਨਾਸ਼’ (ਖ਼ਯ/ਲਯ) — ਦੋਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਇਕੱਠੇ ਯਥਾਰਥ ਜਾਣਦਾ ਹੈ; ਉਹ ਵਿਨਾਸ਼ ਰਾਹੀਂ ਮੌਤ ਨੂੰ ਪਾਰ ਕਰਕੇ, ਸੰਭੂਤੀ ਰਾਹੀਂ ਅਮਰਤ੍ਵ ਨੂੰ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ।

He who knows that sambhūti (becoming/manifestation) and vināśa (perishing/dissolution) together—having crossed death by vināśa, he attains immortality by sambhūti.
