Transliteration

tatrāṃtare samabhyāyānmuniryamavatāṃ varaḥ | viśvāmitramuneraṃtevāsī kautsa iti smṛtaḥ

Translation

ਇਸੇ ਵਿਚਕਾਰ, ਯਮ-ਨਿਯਮ ਵਾਲਿਆਂ ਵਿਚੋਂ ਸ਼੍ਰੇਸ਼ਠ ਇਕ ਮੁਨੀ ਆ ਪਹੁੰਚਿਆ—ਕੌਤਸ ਨਾਮ ਨਾਲ ਪ੍ਰਸਿੱਧ—ਜੋ ਵਿਸ਼ਵਾਮਿਤ੍ਰ ਮੁਨੀ ਦਾ ਅੰਤੇਵਾਸੀ (ਸ਼ਿਸ਼੍ਯ) ਮੰਨਿਆ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਸੀ।
