अज्ञानाज्ज्ञानतो वापि यत्किंचिद्दुष्कृतं भवेत् । प्रायश्चित्तं विधातव्यं तन्नाशाय प्रयत्नतः

Transliteration

ajñānājjñānato vāpi yatkiṃcidduṣkṛtaṃ bhavet | prāyaścittaṃ vidhātavyaṃ tannāśāya prayatnataḥ

Translation

ਅਗਿਆਨ ਕਰਕੇ ਜਾਂ ਜਾਣ-ਬੁੱਝ ਕੇ ਜੇ ਕੋਈ ਦੁਰਕਰਮ ਹੋ ਜਾਵੇ, ਤਾਂ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਨਾਸ ਲਈ ਯਤਨ ਨਾਲ ਯਥਾਵਿਧਿ ਪ੍ਰਾਯਸ਼ਚਿੱਤ ਕਰਨਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਹੈ।
