अस्मिन्ब्रह्मणि देवेशि संजाते ह्यष्टवार्षिके । तदा कालात्समारभ्य सोमेश इति विश्रुतः

Transliteration

asminbrahmaṇi deveśi saṃjāte hyaṣṭavārṣike | tadā kālātsamārabhya someśa iti viśrutaḥ

Translation

ਹੇ ਦੇਵੀ, ਬ੍ਰਹਮਾ ਦੇ ਇਸ ਵਰਤਮਾਨ ਸ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਟੀ-ਚੱਕਰ ਵਿੱਚ, ਜਦ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਇਸ ਅਵਸਥਾ ਵਿੱਚ ਪ੍ਰਗਟ ਹੋਇਆ, ਉਸ ਸਮੇਂ ਤੋਂ ਅੱਗੇ ਉਹ ਪਵਿੱਤਰ ਪ੍ਰਭਾਸ-ਖੇਤਰ ਵਿੱਚ “ਸੋਮੇਸ਼” ਨਾਮ ਨਾਲ ਪ੍ਰਸਿੱਧ ਹੋ ਗਿਆ।
