Transliteration

tato devyā tadā dṛṣṭvā rakṣitaṃ nāgapārśvataḥ | tataḥ suparṇeletyevaṃ khyātā sā vasudhātale

Translation

ਫਿਰ ਦੇਵੀ ਨੇ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਨਾਗਾਂ ਦੇ ਪਾਸੇ ਰੱਖਿਆ ਹੋਇਆ ਰੱਖਿਆ-ਸੰਭਾਲਿਆ ਦੇਖਿਆ। ਤਦੋਂ ਤੋਂ ਧਰਤੀ ‘ਤੇ ਉਹ ‘ਸੁਪਰਨੇਲਾ’ ਨਾਮ ਨਾਲ ਪ੍ਰਸਿੱਧ ਹੋ ਗਈ।
