ਪੁੱਤਰਾਂ ਦੀ ਕਾਮਨਾ ਨਾਲ ਉਹ ਨਰਸ਼੍ਰੇਸ਼ਠ ਸ਼ੰਕਰ ਦੀ ਪੂਜਾ ਕਰਦਾ ਰਿਹਾ। ਤਦ ਪ੍ਰਸੰਨ ਹੋ ਕੇ ਉਹ ਭਗਵਾਨ ਵਰ ਦੇਣ ਲਈ ਉਤਸੁਕ ਹੋਇਆ।
