अथ प्रहस्य भगवान्यज्ञवेद्यां सुरेश्वरि । क्षिप्त्वा कपालं नष्टोऽसौ न स ज्ञातो मनीषिभिः
atha prahasya bhagavānyajñavedyāṃ sureśvari | kṣiptvā kapālaṃ naṣṭo'sau na sa jñāto manīṣibhiḥ
ਤਦ ਦੇਵਾਂ ਦੇ ਸਵਾਮੀ ਭਗਵਾਨ ਹੱਸਦੇ ਹੋਏ, ਹੇ ਸੁਰੇਸ਼ਵਰੀ, ਯਜ੍ਞ-ਵੇਦੀ ਉੱਤੇ ਕਪਾਲ-ਪਾਤ੍ਰ ਸੁੱਟ ਦਿੱਤਾ; ਅਤੇ ਉਸੇ ਪਲ ਉਹ ਅਦ੍ਰਿਸ਼ ਹੋ ਗਿਆ—ਇਸ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਕਿ ਮਨੀਸ਼ੀ ਵੀ ਨਹੀਂ ਜਾਣ ਸਕੇ ਕਿ ਉਹ ਕਿੱਥੇ ਗਿਆ।
