āyāmādīni jānīhi guhyāni surasundari | ādye kalpe purā devi pramodanamiti smṛtam
Skanda (deduced)
Tirtha: Prabhāsa-kṣetra (earliest-kalpa name: Pramodana)
Type: kshetra
Listener: A female divine/royal listener addressed as ‘surasundarī’ and ‘devī’
Scene: A teacher-figure reveals a sacred map: concentric boundary lines of Prabhāsa with marked āyāma; above, a faint overlay of an earlier-age label ‘Pramodana’ shimmering like an ancient palimpsest.
Sacred geography has inner (guhya) dimensions; knowing a tīrtha includes knowing its timeless identity across cosmic cycles.
Prabhāsa-kṣetra, whose earliest kalpa-name is given as Pramodana.
None directly; the verse frames an esoteric disclosure about the kṣetra’s measures and ancient name.
