Transliteration

taṃ dṛṣṭvā pūjayāmāsa śāstradṛṣṭena vartmanā | pratyutthānābhivādābhyāmarghyapādyādibhistathā

Translation

ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਵੇਖ ਕੇ ਉਸ ਨੇ ਸ਼ਾਸਤ੍ਰਾਂ ਦੇ ਦੱਸੇ ਮਾਰਗ ਅਨੁਸਾਰ ਸਤਿਕਾਰ ਕੀਤਾ—ਉੱਠ ਕੇ ਸਵਾਗਤ ਕੀਤਾ, ਪ੍ਰਣਾਮ ਕੀਤੇ, ਅਤੇ ਅਰਘ੍ਯ, ਪਾਦ੍ਯ (ਚਰਨ-ਜਲ) ਆਦਿ ਨਾਲ ਆਦਰ-ਸੰਸਕਾਰ ਕੀਤੇ।
