यस्तत्र कुरुते श्राद्धं दक्षिणां मूर्तिमाश्रितः । पितरस्तस्य तृप्यंति यावदाभूतसंप्लवम्
yastatra kurute śrāddhaṃ dakṣiṇāṃ mūrtimāśritaḥ | pitarastasya tṛpyaṃti yāvadābhūtasaṃplavam
ਜੋ ਉੱਥੇ ਦੱਖਣ ਦਿਸ਼ਾ ਵੱਲ ਮੁਖ ਕਰਕੇ ਸ਼੍ਰਾਦ੍ਹ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ, ਉਸ ਦੇ ਪਿਤਰ ਤ੍ਰਿਪਤ ਰਹਿੰਦੇ ਹਨ—ਜਦ ਤੱਕ ਭੂਤ-ਸੰਪਲਵ, ਅਰਥਾਤ ਪ੍ਰਲਯ ਦਾ ਅੰਤ ਨਹੀਂ ਆ ਜਾਂਦਾ।
