अथवाऽत्रैव तिष्ठ त्वं शपथाः संतु मे तव । तव स्थाने प्रयास्यामि मातस्त्वं यदि मन्यसे
athavā'traiva tiṣṭha tvaṃ śapathāḥ saṃtu me tava | tava sthāne prayāsyāmi mātastvaṃ yadi manyase
ਨਹੀਂ ਤਾਂ ਤੂੰ ਇੱਥੇ ਹੀ ਠਹਿਰ ਜਾ—ਤੇਰੀਆਂ ਕਸਮਾਂ ਮੇਰੇ ਉੱਤੇ ਰਹਿਣ। ਮਾਤਾ, ਜੇ ਤੂੰ ਮਨਜ਼ੂਰ ਕਰੇਂ, ਤਾਂ ਤੇਰੇ ਸਥਾਨ ਤੇ ਮੈਂ ਹੀ ਜਾਵਾਂਗਾ।
