दृष्ट्वा प्राह तदा विप्रं भक्षणार्थमुपस्थितम् । भक्षयिष्यामि वै विप्र त्वामहं नात्र संशयः

Transliteration

dṛṣṭvā prāha tadā vipraṃ bhakṣaṇārthamupasthitam | bhakṣayiṣyāmi vai vipra tvāmahaṃ nātra saṃśayaḥ

Translation

ਉਸ ਨੇ ਨੇੜੇ ਆਏ ਬ੍ਰਾਹਮਣ ਨੂੰ ਭੋਜਨ ਵਾਂਗ ਵੇਖ ਕੇ ਕਿਹਾ: “ਹੇ ਬ੍ਰਾਹਮਣ, ਮੈਂ ਨਿਸ਼ਚੇ ਹੀ ਤੈਨੂੰ ਖਾ ਜਾਵਾਂਗਾ—ਇਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਕੋਈ ਸੰਦੇਹ ਨਹੀਂ।”
