Transliteration

yayā sa mahiṣaḥ pūrvaṃ nihato dānavo raṇe | kaumāravratadhāriṇyā māyāśatasahasradhṛk

Translation

ਜਿਸ ਦੇਵੀ ਨੇ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਯੁੱਧ ਵਿੱਚ ਮਹਿਸਾ-ਰੂਪੀ ਦਾਨਵ ਨੂੰ ਸੰਘਾਰਿਆ ਸੀ—ਉਹ ਕੌਮਾਰ-ਵ੍ਰਤ ਧਾਰਣ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲੀ, ਅਤੇ ਸੈਂਕੜੇ-ਹਜ਼ਾਰਾਂ ਮਾਇਆ-ਸ਼ਕਤੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਧਾਰਣ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲੀ ਹੈ।
