नासत्यं जायते वाक्यं नागराणां कथंचन । ब्रह्मशालास्थितानां च शुभं वा यदि वाऽशुभम्
nāsatyaṃ jāyate vākyaṃ nāgarāṇāṃ kathaṃcana | brahmaśālāsthitānāṃ ca śubhaṃ vā yadi vā'śubham
ਨਾਗਰਾਂ ਵਿਚ ਕਿਸੇ ਦੀ ਬਾਤ ਕਦੇ ਝੂਠੀ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੁੰਦੀ; ਖ਼ਾਸ ਕਰਕੇ ਬ੍ਰਹ੍ਮਸ਼ਾਲਾ ਵਿੱਚ ਬੈਠਿਆਂ ਦੀ—ਚਾਹੇ ਮਾਮਲਾ ਸ਼ੁਭ ਹੋਵੇ ਜਾਂ ਅਸ਼ੁਭ।
